David is a PhD biochemist, trained at UC-Berkeley and the UW-Madison. He quickly abandoned the pursuit of science for the “business side” of biotech, working at a venture capital fund, an investment bank and a start-up biotechnology company. He plays the stock & option markets across all sectors, but keeps a soft spot in his heart for biotech companies. When not investing, he’s brewing beer, chasing his son around or all-too-rarely getting some exercise.
